This website and the immersive investigation experiences sold on it are operated by Enigma Quest Studio, based in the United States ("we", "us", "our"). This policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, and the rights you have over it. It applies to every experience purchased on this site.
For any privacy question or request: contact@murderexperience.com.
Our experiences are built around you. During onboarding you answer a confidential questionnaire that may include your occupation, hobbies and interests, and fears. These answers are used by our systems solely to shape your story. No human reads them for any other purpose.
As the investigation unfolds, you exchange messages with fictional AI-driven characters over WhatsApp, Telegram, and email. These conversations are processed to generate the characters' responses and to keep your storyline coherent.
Payments are processed entirely by our payment provider. We never see, collect, or store your full card details.
Like most websites, we collect limited technical data (pages viewed, approximate traffic statistics, device type) to run and improve the site. See Cookies.
What we never do: we never sell your personal data. We never share it with third parties for their own marketing. We do not run third-party advertising on your data.
Where the GDPR applies, we rely on the following legal bases:
We share data only with the processors strictly required to run the experiences, and only for the purposes listed here:
Each provider processes your data under its own security and privacy commitments and only on our instructions. Messages you exchange on WhatsApp and Telegram are also subject to those platforms' own terms and privacy policies.
We keep your data for as long as needed to run your experience and comply with legal obligations (accounting, tax). Questionnaire answers and gameplay conversations are retained while your experience is active so your story stays coherent, and can be deleted on request once it is finished. Order records are kept for the legally required period.
You can, at any time:
Email contact@murderexperience.com and we will respond within 30 days. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.
If you are a California resident, you have the right to:
To exercise any of these rights, email contact@murderexperience.com with "California privacy request" in the subject line.
We use essential cookies to run the site (cart, session, security) and, only with your consent given in the cookie banner, optional analytics and advertising pixels to measure our own campaigns. You can decline non-essential cookies in the banner or clear them in your browser at any time.
Data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS) and stored on access-controlled infrastructure. Payment data is handled exclusively by our PCI-DSS-compliant payment provider. No system is 100% secure, but we apply reasonable technical and organizational measures appropriate to the data we handle.
Our experiences are intended for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
We are based in the United States and your data is processed there. If you access our experiences from the EU/EEA, UK, or elsewhere, your data is transferred to the US and protected by the safeguards described in this policy and by our processors' own compliance frameworks (such as standard contractual clauses where applicable).
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. The version in effect when you use the site applies.
